What is Detailing?
Detailing is taking car care to the next level, every aspect of the vehicle is meticulously cleaned, polished, and protected to enhance the look of the car and preserve its value. The main focus of detailing is paint correction which is using polishes and machines to give the paint a near-perfect finish, removing things such as swirls, scratches, etchings and blemishes, it is usually then protected with Ceramic Coatings.

My car is brand new why would I have it detailed?
This is the best time to get your car detailed! They have had less time spent outside and exposed to the elements, also brand-new cars, in theory, should not need detailing, but, they usually do. Before being purchased new cars sit in car parks, travel long distances along rail lines or lorries and accumulate dirt and contamination just like any other vehicle, when they arrive at dealerships, they lack any form of protection and usually receive a quick wash which causes swirls and imperfections in the paint, having it detailed will literally make it look better than brand new and blow your mind with how a new car should be presented and protected.
What is valeting?
Valeting is the process of cleaning a car to the highest standard, using a range of chemicals, dressings, polishes, and waxes to achieve a like-new look inside and out. At Dom's Detailing we don't offer 'in and outs' or 'Mini valets' we believe that a dirty car can not get up to the correct standard without Deep Cleaning certain areas, such as the steering wheel, floor mats and car pedals, therefore we only offer deep cleaning packages, however, if you would like to have regular cleaning then ask us about our Maintenance plan.

What are the benefits of Ceramic Coatings?
Ceramic coatings are made of SiO2, one of the hardest materials in the world and when applied to the surface it chemically bonds to the paint forming a hard sacrificial protective layer which will give it fantastic swirl and chemical resistance and self-cleaning abilities.
They can be applied to gloss, matte and satin paint, PPF, vinyl wraps, alloys, trim, glass and even interior leathers. These coatings are practically a thin layer of glass applied to the surface of the car, meaning they give the uncomparable gloss, depth and shine that no other protection product can offer. Our coatings are warranted providing you have a yearly deep clean and top-up for the duration of the coating.
