FAQ's
What is valeting?
Valeting is the process of cleaning a car to the highest standard, using a range of chemicals, dressings, polishes, and waxes to achieve a like-new look inside and out.

What is Detailing?
Detailing is taking car care to the next level, every aspect of the vehicle is meticulously cleaned, polished, and protected to enhance the look of the car and preserve its value. The focus of detailing is polishing the paint using polishes and machines to give the paint a near-perfect finish it is usually then protected with a Ceramic Coating

How long will it take?
Valeting can take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours and sometimes more depending on the size and condition of the vehicle, detailing however can take days, so please ensure you plan if you’re thinking of getting your car detailed

My car is brand new why would I have it detailed?
Brand new cars, in theory, should not need detailing, but, they usually do. Before being purchased new cars sit in car parks, travel long distances along rail lines or lorries and accumulate dirt and contamination just like any other vehicle, when they arrive at dealerships, they lack any form of protection and usually receive a quick wash which causes swirls and imperfections in the paint, having it detailed will literally make it look better than brand new and blow your mind with how a new car should be presented and protected.

How long does the protection last?
The products used are mainly ceramic-based giving them a bit extra durability as well as excellent gloss, it does depend on some factors, such as how much the vehicle is driven and how the vehicle is cleaned but the detailing sprays last a month or two, waxes around 6 months and Ceramic coatings last anywhere from 1 to 5 years when maintained properly.

What is the benefit of Ceramic Coatings?
Ceramic coatings are a hard sacrificial protective layer that chemically bonds to the surface forming a shield for your car which means it has greater resistance to swirls from washing, etchings from bird poo and water spots from water/rain. They aren't scratch proof and still need to be looked after properly once applied but they do a fantastic job of keeping the car looking better and cleaner for longer.
What service do I need?

Are you mobile?
Yes, We're mobile we have everything we need to carry out the job whether it valeting or detailing, we also carry a pop-up shelter to provide cover from light rain or hot sun, however, if it is a windy rainy day it's best to reschedule.

I have an unpleasant odour in my car, what service do I need?
Odours embed themselves into fabrics in the vehicle, air fresheners will mask the smell, but it’ll still be there. I’d suggest an Interior Deep Clean which includes a shampoo and extraction of all the seats, mats and carpets which will completely refresh the inside of the car and eliminate the odours.

What is decontamination?
Paint decontamination is the process of removing stuck-on grime such as tar spots, brake dust, mineral deposits or tree sap on the car's paint and wheels which are not removed with traditional car washing methods and need dedicated chemicals and clay bars to remove. Tar spots are usually found around the lower half of the car mainly around the arches, fallout or brake dust can be felt on the cars pant after cleaning because it'll be rough to the touch, they only take a few months to really start building up so decontamination is key.
