Multi-stage machine polishing to achieve near paint perfection

The paint correction service is for cars with heavy paint swirls, defects, etchings or oxidization bringing older or aged cars back to life. Spending two days using a range of machines, pads, compounds, skill and patience to polish and remove the imperfections in your paint for up to 95% defect removal.

Leaving your paint vibrant and shiny with incredible amounts of depth and gloss, this detail will completely transform the look of your car.

This package includes a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the newly polished paint and will also give it huge amounts of depth, gloss and shine. It will also help it stay cleaner for longer and makes it easier to clean when the time comes.

Engine Bay

The whole engine bay, surround and underside of the bonnet coated in cleaner and degreaser
Engine bay agitated with a range of tools and brushes
Light pressure rinse
Thoroughly dried with microfibres and air blower releasing all trapped water
All plastics and rubbers dressed

Wash Stage

Alloy faces, barrels, arches and tyres cleaned
Snow foam is applied and left to dwell
Door and boot sills cleaned even the petrol cap!
Car is thoroughly washed using the two bucket method
2 stage chemical and clay bar decontamination to remove fallout, tar and glue
Another snow foaming and final rinse
Car dried using plush microfibre towels and warm air blower

Correction stage

Panel wipe down (IPA) to reveal the true condition of the paint
Paint inspected under specialist lighting
Paint thickness measured using an electronic gauge
Edges, rubbers and delicate areas covered with masking tape
Compounding stage to cut the clear coat remove the heavy swirls and defects
Refinement stage to remove the marring and haze left by the compounding stage
Wipe down and inspection

Protection

We apply a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the corrected paint (3 & 5 year upgrades available)
Tyres, plastics and rubbers dressed
Chrome and exhaust polished
Door sills sealed
Glass cleaned and rain repellant applied (1 - 2 year glass coating available)
Final tooth-pickery inspection

FAQ's & Information

Have you ever been looking and admiring your car on a sunny day and noticed all the swirls, etchings and imperfections? That's from the improper wash methods your car has received over the years, the main culprits being automated or hand car washes. Etchings from bird droppings, random isolated deep scratches (RIDS) from wear and tear, as well as lack of paint protection (wax, sealants or coatings), damage the overall appearance of a car.

What about faded or oxidised paint? Over time the suns UV rays, not having any paint protection (wax, sealants or coatings) and environmental damage from day to day driving fade and oxidise your paint. These paint defects make your car look aged and the paint will appear dull and hazy, your car may be clean but it will never look its best.

What is Paint Correction? Paint correction is the process of using a machine polisher, different combinations of pads, compounds and polishes and a lot of time and energy to remove a very thin layer of your cars clear coat to level the surface thus removing the imperfections. As a result of this, your car's paint will have that deep wet glossy look that is so desirable.

Will this remove all the scratches? Some scratches, such as key scratches, are just too deep to be removed with polishing and you may be looking at a respray.
